  1. Install the extension

    In Cursor, Devin, or VS Code, open Extensions, search “Postern”, and click Install.

    Marketplace Open in Open VSX Download .vsix

    Using the .vsix? Extensions panel → ⋯ → Install from VSIX…

    Using OpenCode? Also run “opencode serve” on the same computer.

  2. Open the Postern panel

    Click the Postern icon in the editor’s left bar. You’ll see an 8-digit code and a QR code.

  3. Connect your phone

    Scan the QR code with your phone camera. It opens in the browser — no app needed.

  4. Away from the office

    Connect through your company VPN or a private tunnel, then add the computer’s tunnel address in the panel.

  5. Keep it after the trial

    Click Buy in the panel’s License section — your machine code is filled in for you. After paying, click Activate.
